I am completely heartbroken that Steve Jobs is no longer on this planet. He was a visionary, a genius, an awe-inspiring creative legend who changed the face of business and technology, forever. Without him, I wouldn’t be blogging on this Mac Book right now.
Here are some pretty fantastic Steve Jobs quotes:
“Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.”
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”
“We’ve gone through the operating system and looked at everything and asked how can we simplify this and make it more powerful at the same time.”
“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”
“I want to put a ding in the universe.”
“I was worth over $1,000,000 when I was 23, and over $10,000,000 when I was 24, and over $100,000,000 when I was 25, and it wasn’t that important because I never did it for the money.”
“Bill Gates‘d be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once or gone off to an ashram when he was younger.”
“My job is to not be easy on people. My job is to make them better.”
Come on, people. Lets have a moment of silence for Steve Jobs. His genius makes me shudder. And lets all do something amazing today, in memory of him.
Farewell, Steve Jobs. And thank you.
