We have been spending a lot of time in Eugene lately, and I must say, I am falling in love! What a great town! We have really been welcomed with open arms. I wanted to take a minute to talk about some of our neighbors down there, and how excited we are to be a part of such an exciting growth spurt.
1. The Barn Light– We love this place! The Barn Light is right next to Urban Waxx on Williamette, and it has been our most frequented place, so far. The decor is so darling: sort of urban rustic. They are open all day, and they have great coffee, food, and cocktails. Plus, they also have live music and on some nights they do trivia! The owners of The Barn Light, Thomas and Dustin have been so warm and welcoming. We really could not ask for better neighbors!
2. The Lounge – This is a brand new wine bar that is our other neighbor. We are so excited to check out their selection of wine and bubbly. This lounge is actually part of the fantastic Pyrenees Vineyards in Myrtle Creek, OR. I am pretty sure we will be getting to know their wines, and their staff, pretty well!
3. Sizzle Pie – With the motto: “Death to False Pizza,” you better believe their pizza is good. And it is! They have really high quality ingredients, and they also do specialties like gluten-free and vegan pizzas. I love their locations in PDX, and their Eugene location is super chic. Great pizza and great cocktails. What more could you want?
4. Plume Red/ Heritage Dry Goods– Oh. My. Goodness. I LOVE this store. This is the kind of place that you walk in and immediately want to buy everything. And then you look more, and you want to buy even more! This perfectly perfect shop is actually 2 stores in one: Plume Red, which specializes in products with a European flair, and Heritage Dry Goods, which specializes on American made Artisan items. The owners have been beyond warm and welcoming to us, and we absolutely cannot walk by this shop without going in and buying something perfect.
That’s all for now. Can you tell I am excited about Eugene!?!
xo,
