Anneke grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and after five sunny years in Arizona for college, she made her way to Oregon, drawn by the amazing food scene and cozy vibes. She’s a romantasy book lover, a proud caffeine addict (yes, her coffee maker lives on her bedside table), and a total sucker for TikTok recipes. When she’s not hiking with her Aussie-doodle, Jasper, she’s crafting, collecting trinkets, or building her epic photo collage wall. At home, she’s happiest with her partner, a bowl of popcorn, and a good movie.

Born in California and raised in Portland, Patty starts most mornings with meditation before diving into mom life with her three-year-old son, who rarely leaves her side. She loves getting ready for the day, especially doing her makeup, and has a soft spot for all things pink. When she’s not reading (she recently finished The Courage to Be Disliked and is wrapping up The Courage to Be Happy), you might find her cold plunging in the ocean for a reset. At home, she hangs with her merle long-haired Frenchie, KoD, and always has some kind of spicy chips close by to snack on.

Born and raised in Portland in a big multicultural family, Marissa has a deep appreciation for the arts, humanities, agriculture, and the region she calls home. She trained in modern dance for over half her life and now loves photography, blending her own tea, and anything rose-scented or love-related. She’s ambidextrous, could happily eat sushi every day, and proudly keeps her home digital-clock-free. Her retirement dream? Goats, homemade cheese, and a quiet spot by the creek.

As the Urban Waxx Wax Educator, Allie is the go-to expert when it comes to training our incoming Waxers—and her passion for beauty doesn’t stop there! A true makeup and skincare enthusiast, she’s all about helping people look and feel their best.

Allie is also a big-time foodie with a love for nutrition, balancing her appreciation for good eats with outdoor adventures like hiking and camping. Having lived in both Southern and Northern California, she embraces an active lifestyle, whether she’s hitting the gym or taking a fitness class. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll find her curled up with her fluffy kitty, Nimbus, indulging in reality TV or diving into astrology.

Music is close to her heart, and when it comes to her go-to drink? It’s matcha over coffee every time. With her expertise, warmth, and love for all things beauty, Allie brings knowledge, energy, and inspiration to Urban Waxx every day!
